Our connection to the area goes back decades. A nonprofit community, Warm Hearth Village was founded in 1974 by Wybe and Marietje Kroontje, Dutch immigrants who came to the U.S. after World War II. Eager to give something back to the country that had given so much to them, Wybe and Marietje created a community dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors of all socioeconomic backgrounds.

HAPPY CLIENTS
"For over a year, I have had daily companions from Warm Hearth at Home. Their conscientious attention to safety and detail make it possible for me to remain in my own home. Whenever my daughter Betty is not here, these companions assist me not only with daily household tasks, but also accompany me to a variety of appointments and other errands. For me, each one of my Warm Hearth at Home companions is a respected friend, a kind of family member."
"For the past several months, my wife has been under the care of nurses and companions of Warm Hearth at Home. This is a new program which is developing nicely. The Warm Hearth at Home care providers come to our house on a schedule. They are both responsible and caring. They are careful to respond to our current needs which may develop on weekends and holidays. I have found their program to be flexible and they will work closely with our family physician. One of the program’s greatest values is that is permits my wife to stay at home with her family while she receives the care that she requires."

"My parents have been married for 65 years and since their marriage have never lived apart. Warm Hearth Home Health Care Program has allowed my mother to remain at home with my father and not have to be relocated into a nursing home. This home care program has given my parents more time to remain together. My father, my sisters, and I want to keep my mother home with my father as long as possible, but my mother needs nursing care to remain at home with my father.
My mother needs nursing care on a daily basis. My father can no longer provide the daily care she requires and my sisters and I live too great of a distance to be there on a frequent basis. The home health care at Warm Hearth has provided all the necessary care that my mother needs and has eliminated the worry and stress. Warm Hearth Health Care has provided a service that is reliable, courteous, and professional, and our family has really appreciated this invaluable resource."
